FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you offer private tours?

Yes! Check out the "Private Tours" page, or contact by emailing info@SanDiegoStreetTours.com or texting (619) 363-3280.

Is gratuity included?

Gratuity is not already included for your guide, and if you enjoyed your experience your guide happily accepts and appreciates tips! For food tours the restaurant staff automatically receives gratuity as part of your ticket price, there is no expectation that you tip at the restaurants included on the tour.

What's your cancellation policy?

24 hours notice is required to reschedule or for a refund if cancelling for any reason. There are no refunds for guests who miss a tour due to lateness.

Are tours wheelchair accessible?

Yes! With the exception of a short staircase on the street art tour. If joining the street art tour, please notify your guide and a different route can be used instead.

How much walking is there?

It varies per tour: an approximate distance is provided in the details of each tour. It ranges between about 1.5 miles to 2 miles (2.4km - 3.2km), and all tours have many stops along the route. Even those who sometimes find walking difficult have found tour distances and pacing very manageable.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Of course veganism is accommodated on the vegan food tour (and by default, vegetarianism as well). Please alert your guide when you book of any dietary restrictions and every effort will be made to accommodate. However there is not a guarantee that all dietary restrictions can be accommodated.

Can I bring my dog or any other animal?

Service animals are always welcome. Pets are only welcome on some tours and under certain circumstances, please reach out to info@sandiegostreettours.com to inquire about bringing a pet.

What happens if there's bad weather?

Fortunately we don't worry about this much in San Diego! However, when we do get rain, very hot days, etc. all tours run as normal. The only exception are rare instances when weather is so extreme that safety becomes a concern. In those cases guests will have the opportunity for a reschedule or refund.
